In July 2011 Firestrike Resources Limited listed on the Australian Share Exchange following a successful capital raising of $3.1 million.
On May 29th 2012 Firestrike entered into a Joint Venture with Escalante Star in which Firestrike can acquire a majority in Escalante Star’s Elephant Canyon copper, silver, gold and polymetallic porphyry project in UTAH, USA.
Having selected gold projects which have already defined drill targets ready for immediate testing, the company has completed its first phase drilling on the project and is looking to second phase drilling in 2013.

Elephant Canyon Project
Originally mined for base metals and silver, the Elephant Canyon Project in southern Utah USA has potential for gold, base metals, silver and molybdenum as a result of the porphyry mineralisation style.

Angelo Project
The Angelo gold project (Angelo Project) is located approximately 40 kilometres South-West of Halls Creek and 5 kilometres South of the Great Northern Highway and comprises the exploration licence E 80/2707. The licence is less than 15 kilometres to the East of Nicolson’s Find gold treatment plant and this infrastructure could potentially be utilised to process ore from the Angelo Project.

Grants Creek
The Grants Creek gold project (Grants Creek Project) comprises a seven prospecting licences and an application for a prospecting licence, which are located in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia approximately 60 kilometres North Northeast of Halls Creek.

Cristina Project
The project is located some 14 km from the township of Calingasta, in the pro mining province of San Juan, Argentina.
Approximately 30 kilometre to the north east is the very successful Casposo gold mine currently owned and operated by Troy Resources Limited. (A similar epithermal vein style gold mineralisation mining project).
To date over 400 surface samples have been collected form the property, with high grade (above 5g/t) gold recorded at numerous locations within the property boundary.
